The National Take Back Day when you can turn in unwanted prescription medication is on April 26th. from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Several police departments will help with the collections at different sites throughout Washington County. For a complete listing go to dea.gov and type in your zip code. Pass this information on, this program takes place across the nation on April 26th.

The State Police Barracks at 83 Mutland Ave. (Rt. 19)
South Strabane Police will be collecting at Giant Eagle at 331 Washington Road
Chartiers Twp Police Dept will be at 2 Buccaneer Dr. Houston
Peters Twp Police will be at Heisler’s Market at 601 E. McMurray Rd, McMurray also at both Giant Eagle locations in McMurray (40017 Washington Road and 2840 Washington Road), and Wirght’s Methodist Church (drive through location) at 788 Venetia Road, Venetia
Canonsburg Police will collect at Shop N Save on 617 West Pike Street, Canonsburg
Mt. Pleasant Twp Police will collect at the Mt. Pleasant Twp. Municipal bulding at 31 McCarrell Rd. in Hickory
McDonald Police will collect at the Robinson Twp Building at 8400 Noblestown Road, McDonald Borough Municipal Building at 151 School Street, Midway Borough Building at 304 Noblestown Road, Midway and Independence Twp Building at 34 Campbell Street in Avella.
