Addiction affects everyone in the family. Not just the person with the addiction. Meetings can give you the support and answers that you may need. The meetings are held specifically for the type of addiction. Support meetings for narcotic addiction are know as Nar-Anon and Nar-ateen and alcohol addiction support meetings are called Al-Anon.
If a family member or friend may be using drugs. If you have found evidence, or have even a vague suspicion that someone close to you may have a drug problem you may want to attend a Nar-Anon or Nar-ateen meeting.
