The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) launched a new and improved drug education website for parents, educator and caregivers, GetSmartAboutDrugs.com
Although it was originally launched in 2008, the site has updated drug information, resources and is redesigned for easier navigation. Aside from trends, news and tools, the site has information including:
- Marijuana use and drugged driving
- How to identify drug paraphernalia
- Why Spice/K2 is a serious drug trend
- How your school can be involved in Red Ribbon Week, which encourages parents to create an open dialogue about underage drinking and drug use with their kids.
Visit the website www.GetSmartAboutDrugs.com for more information.
